Ikaria, where food sustainability is a lesson
A journey to the island that lives to the rhythm of the earth and teaches the world another way to produce, share, and innovate.

With one foot in Glasgow and the other in Edinburgh, I have a passion for stories hidden in the folds of time, where I read of revolutions, evolutions, creativity, and insights. After working in museums and film festivals, I ended up at the Business School of Heriot-Watt University where I teach marketing and deal with gastronomic heritage, sustainability, and tourism, particularly how food narrates territories, memories, and communities. Outside the classroom, I coordinate Slow Food Glasgow, where I put theory into practice by organizing projects and events that weave together knowledge and conviviality. After all, I believe that food and knowledge make more sense when shared!
