A night in Puglia: event featuring wine, cuisine, and ceramics in Grottaglie

Grottaglie, Puglia. Just step through the door of Casa Vestita to understand that this is not just an ordinary evening. It is a total immersion in the sounds, scents, flavors, and shapes of a territory that has made beauty and tradition a heritage to be passed down.

"A Night in Puglia" is the new event of the format Tasting Stories by Retrogusti. A multisensory experience designed for those who want to savor, listen, see, and touch the true essence of Puglia.

In the heart of the Ceramic District, among artisan workshops and ancient crafts, we will open the doors to a unique venue: Casa Vestita, a historic residence that houses a secret garden and an evocative medieval rock church from the 13th century, recently brought back to light.

Under the soft lights of sunset, the glasses will be filled with local wines, a symbol of rooted and authentic winemaking. On the table, dishes inspired by peasant cuisine and grandmother's recipes: the typical orecchiette, durum wheat focaccia, oil from nearby fields, sun-ripened tomatoes, and the intense scents of fresh basil.

It will also be an opportunity to admire the famous artistic ceramics of Grottaglie, crafted on the lathe according to ancient knowledge, still alive thanks to the skill of local artisans.

A single night to immerse oneself in the culture of a people. An invitation to sit around the table, to discover the stories held in the alleys, in the small shops, in the dishes and in the glasses.
