On September 19, 2025, at 8:30 PM, Retrogusti brings a new appointment of the column “Fuori menù” to Manduria (TA), the spin-off of the format Storie in degustazione, dedicated to special events stemming from the meeting of knowledge, flavors, and territories.

The evocative tasting room of the Birrificio Daniel’s will become the theater of a unique aromatic journey, where the protagonist will be AN Gin, the rural Salento gin created with juniper berries from the Ionian Sea using the London Dry method.

The evening will begin with the tasting of a Gin and Tonic prepared with AN Gin and will continue with a tasting in its pure form, guided by the expert Enzo Scivetti, Brand Ambassador of Toscano and an international reference figure in the world of food and wine.

The experience will be enriched with pairing to Toscano cigars and single-origin dark chocolate from Tanzania and Mexico from the prestigious Bernardi brand.

The culinary tradition of Puglia will not be lacking with a taste of local excellence: Salento puccetta with capocollo from Martina Franca, Pugliese focaccia, and eggplant meatballs.

A sensory journey that combines spirits, aromas, and identities of the territory, to discover how Salento can tell its story through botanicals, tobacco, and cocoa in a balance of intensity and refinement.
